Comprehensive Eye Care, Focused on You

At UEye & Aesthetics Center, we provide comprehensive eye examinations focused not only on determining your prescription, but also on evaluating your vision and overall eye health.

More Than a Glasses Prescription

A comprehensive eye exam goes beyond determining your eyeglass prescription. It allows us to evaluate different aspects of your vision and eye health and provide recommendations based on your individual needs.

Vision

We evaluate your visual acuity and perform a refraction to determine whether you need vision correction or an updated prescription.

Eye Health

We evaluate your ocular health to identify findings or changes that may require monitoring, follow-up, or additional evaluation.

Personalized Care

Your visual needs, daily activities, history, symptoms, and lifestyle are considered when making recommendations for your eye care.

What We Offer

Comprehensive Eye Exams

A complete evaluation of your vision and eye health.

2

Eyeglass Prescriptions

Determination and updating of your prescription for eyeglasses based on your individual visual needs.

3

Contact Lens Evaluations & Fittings

Evaluation, selection, and fitting of contact lenses according to your prescription, ocular characteristics, visual needs, and lifestyle.

4

Dry Eye Evaluation

5

Ocular Health Evaluation

Evaluation of the ocular structures as part of your comprehensive eye examination.

6

Vision Changes & Concerns

Evaluation of blurred vision, difficulty focusing, changes in vision, or other visual concerns.

Contact Lenses

Find the Contact Lenses That Fit Your Vision and Your Lifestyle

A contact lens fitting goes beyond selecting a prescription. During your evaluation, we assess your prescription, visual needs, ocular characteristics, ocular surface health, and how the lens fits on your eye. We also consider factors such as comfort, ocular dryness, lifestyle, and wearing time to help determine the type of contact lens that may be most appropriate for you. If you currently experience dryness or discomfort with contact lenses, these concerns can also be addressed as part of your evaluation.

For patients who are new to contact lenses, we can also provide guidance on proper insertion, removal, handling, and care.

Find the Right Fit

Contact lenses modalities

Myopia & Hyperopia

Spherical

Designed to correct nearsightedness (myopia) or farsightedness (hyperopia). Spherical contact lenses are commonly used when vision correction does not require a specific design for astigmatism or presbyopia.

Astigmatism

Toric

Designed specifically to correct astigmatism. Toric contact lenses provide different corrective powers in different meridians of the lens and are designed to maintain the appropriate orientation on the eye.

Presbyopia

Multifocal

Designed for patients with presbyopia who need vision correction at different distances. Multifocal lenses incorporate different powers to provide functional vision at distance, intermediate, and near, potentially reducing dependence on reading glasses.

Replacement Options

Different Options for Different Lifestyles

In addition to the type of vision correction you need, contact lenses are available with different replacement schedules. Availability will depend on your prescription, the specific contact lens selected, your ocular needs, and the manufacturer’s recommended replacement schedule.

1 Day

A fresh pair of contact lenses every day. Daily disposable lenses are worn during the day and discarded after removal, eliminating the need to clean and store the lenses for reuse.

1 Week

Contact lenses designed to follow a weekly replacement schedule according to the specific instructions for the lens selected.

2 Weeks

Reusable contact lenses designed to be replaced on a two-week schedule. Appropriate cleaning, disinfection, and storage are required between uses.

1 Month

Reusable contact lenses designed to be replaced monthly. Proper cleaning, disinfection, and storage are required throughout their recommended period of use.

Replacement schedules, wearing time, and care instructions vary depending on the specific contact lens prescribed and the manufacturer’s recommendations.

Your Contact Lens Fitting

Because the Right Prescription Is Only Part of the Right Fit

Not every contact lens performs the same way on every eye.

During your contact lens evaluation, we assess your visual correction needs, ocular characteristics, and the fit of the lens on your eye. We also consider factors such as comfort, ocular dryness, lifestyle, and wearing time when selecting an appropriate option.

For patients who are new to contact lenses, we can also provide guidance on proper insertion, removal, handling, and care.
